All four members of Brave Girls — Minyoung, Yujeong, Eunji, and Yuna — signed exclusive contracts with Warner Music Korea.
According to Brave Girls’ new label, the agency and members are discussing whether they’d keep or change their name. Many KPop groups have changed their group names after moving to new agencies, as the original agency often copyrights these names.
Brave Girls decided not to extend their exclusive contracts with Brave Entertainment on February 16, 2023.
The current members of Brave Girls are the second generation of Brave Girls as the original members left.
The current members did not achieve commercial success until a YouTube video of their track “Rollin” went viral in early 2021. The viral video led to Brave Girls earning the moniker “President of the Military,” as the song is popular among Korean servicemen, and the group frequently performed the track at military bases.
With a strong label behind them, many look forward to what the band will bring forth, whether they keep their name or not.
