K-pop boy band BDC is ending its contract with BRANDNEW MUSIC, the agency confirmed Friday, August 18.
According to the agency, both parties came to a mutual agreement to terminate the group’s exclusive contract after a “long, in-depth discussion.”
But before ending their contract, the three-member boy band will drop by a new digital single on Saturday, August 26, at 6 p.m. KST.

“Hello. This is BRANDNEW MUSIC.
First, we express our sincere gratitude to all the fans who have shown much love and support for BDC.
This is an official announcement about the end of BDC’s exclusive contract with BRANDNEW MUSIC.
After a long, in-depth discussion and careful consideration with Kim Si Hun, Hong Seong Jun, and Yun Jung Hwan, the members of BDC, we have mutually agreed to conclude the exclusive contract between the group and BRANDNEW MUSIC.
After the release of their digital single at 6 PM on August 26th, BDC will end all official promotions as artists under BRANDNEW MUSIC.
We sincerely apologize to the fans of BDC, who have always sent such unconditional support to the group, for breaking this news abruptly.
Even though their exclusive contract with our company has to an end, we will continue to wholeheartedly support and cheer on the members’ growth and the bright future that lies ahead of them.
Lastly, we would like to once again express our gratitude to FINE, who have continued to love and support BDC and ask that you continue to show support to the members and their new beginnings in different areas.

BDC is comprised of former “Produce X 101” trainees Hong Seong Jun, Kim Si H_un, and Yun Jung Hwan. The group debuted in October 2019 and competed in JTBC’s idol survival show “Peak Time” in early 2023.
