BLACKPINK’s main rapper and dancer Lisa made two new Guinness World Records, her label YG Entertainment revealed Thursday, May 11.
The label shared that Lisa’s debut solo album “Lalisa” was recognized by Guinness World Records as the first album released by a K-pop solo artist to reach one billion streams on Spotify.
She also became the fastest female K-pop artist to get a billion accumulated streams on Spotify with her songs, including her solo tracks “Lalisa,” “Money,” and her collaboration with DJ Snake called “SG.”
Lisa also has become the fastest solo K-pop artist to reach 1 billion streams on @Spotify (female) – 411 days.

The song 𝐿𝐴𝐿𝐼𝑆𝐴 has 312 million streams whereas 𝑀𝑂𝑁𝐸𝑌 has 688 million.
Due to the latest record additions, Lisa has become the holder of seven Guinness World Records. It was the most number of world records earned by a K-pop soloist.
Lisa earned her first record in 2021 after the music video for her single “Lalisa” generated 73.6 million views on YouTube in 24 hours since its release. It also became the online video-sharing platform’s most-watched video from a soloist and the most-watched video by a K-pop solo singer in just one day of posting.
Apart from Lisa, her group BLACKPINK also hold 21 Guinness World Records, including the most-viewed music channel on YouTube.
