BLACKPINK once again proved their supremacy in the KPop world, after the performance video of their 2020 hit single “How You Like That” reached 1 billion views on YouTube.

YG Entertainment shared the good news Tuesday, February 8, after the choreography video became the first unofficial music video from a KPop artist to pass the billion view mark.
Based on the agency’s statement, the dance performance video achieved its excellent feat at exactly 10:19 p.m. on Monday, February 7. It was a little over 19 months after the agency uploaded it online on July 6, 2020.
This is the sixth video from BLACKPINK that gained over a billion views on YouTube. Other record-holders include “Ddu-du Ddu-du” with 1.8 billion views, “Kill This Love” with 1.5 billion views, “Boombayah” with 1.3 billion views, “As If It’s Your Last” with 1.1 billion views, and the official music video of “How You Like That” with 1 billion views.
The agency also revealed that the official video of the single also reached another unexpected achievement. “The official music video also drew some 1,048 million views, slightly higher than those of the performance video,” YG Entertainment also said, mentioning that it is not common for two versions of a song to generate an almost equal number of views at the same time.
