The girls of BLACKPINK made another YouTube history after surpassing 2 billion views for the music video of their single “DDU-DU DDU-DU” on Wednesday, January 4, a first for any K-pop group.

The all-female K-pop group reached this outstanding achievement four years, six months, 19 days, and 15 hours after its release online on June 15, 2018.
The only other Korean pop act that achieved more than two billion views on the video-sharing platform was the MV video of PSY’s 2012 breakthrough hit “Gangnam Style.”
