Jisoo stans welcomed the New Year with lots of exciting news, after the BLACKPINK member gifted them with a brand new YouTube channel on the eve of her birthday on Tuesday, January 3, and her highly anticipated solo debut sometime in 2023.
The channel name of Jisoo’s YouTube account literally translates to “Happiness Jisoo 103%,” which may also mean “Happiness Index 103%.”
As its debut feature, Jisoo documented the London stop of BLACKPINK’s ongoing “Born Pink” world tour. She took viewers all over the city by showcasing the food she ate and her activities before and after the shows.
Aside from treating her fans to snippets about her life, Jisoo also announced in the video description that all the proceeds of her channel will be given to charities, adding, “We hope that everyone’s happiness index goes up even higher.”

But Jisoo’s birthday treats do not end there. On Monday, January 2, YG Entertainment confirmed her solo debut sometime this year.
“BLACKPINK’s Jisoo is currently working hard on recording her solo album. While carrying out a busy world tour schedule since last year, she finished the album jacket photo shoot and worked on music production whenever she got the time in order to keep the promise with fans. She will greet [fans] soon with good news,” the agency revealed.
Jisoo is the only BLACKPINK member who has yet to make a solo debut. Lisa, Rosé, and Jennie all launched their own solo projects before their world tour.
