On Friday, South Korean megastars BTS’ label BigHit Music released their statement. According to the Korean music chart Hanteo, BTS’ highly-acclaimed anthology album “Proof” sold 2,752,496 copies in its first week, June 10 to June 16.

They stated that as of this year, “It’s the top-selling album, and the second best-selling BTS album in terms of sales in the first week.” The first album that remains BTS’ best-selling album is their fourth full-length album, “Map of the Soul:7,” which debuted in 2020. The album sold 3.37 million copies in its first week.

When the album dropped on June 10, it immediately accumulated 2.15 million copies in sales.

BTS ranked No. 1 on Japan’s Oricon Chart for its Daily Albums category on June 13, as it sold more than 464 copies. The album also rules the Weekly Digital Albums Chart for the week of June 20.

BTS performed their lead single, “Yet to Come (The Most Beautiful Moment),” and the song dedicated to ARMY, “For Youth,” on Music Bank.
