BTS against BTS, that’s the tea.
Jimin’s latest achievement shows that the only people who can beat BTS’s records are BTS themselves. Our Blues’ original soundtrack, ‘With You,’ was sung by BTS’ siren and featured his talented friend, former HOTSHOT, and Wanna One member Ha Sung Woon.
Ten hours ago, YamYam Entertainment released the music video on their YouTube channel. Jimin also made his official Spotify debut with the OST. Merely hours after its release, Jimin broke several records with his Sung Woon.
Jimin became the fastest Korean soloist to reach 100 #1 on Worldwide iTunes. That means Jimin broke multi-awarded Dynamite’s record, becoming the fastest song to accumulate 100 #1s on the chart. Jimin and Sung Woon occupy the top 1 and 2 spots on US iTunes with “With You” and “With You (Instrumental).” Currently, the MV is the fourth trending video on YouTube. On Twitter, @JiminGlobal reported that “With You” is the most viewed Korean and K-pop music video in the last 24 hours on YouTube. As of writing, the video has 2,250,900 views.
Jimin dominates Twitter with hashtags BTS vs. BTS, JIMIN JIMIN, #WithYou, JIMIN THE FASTEST ACT, JIMIN IT BOY, #RecordBreakerJimin, and more.
ARMYs had streaming goals for Jimin’s first OST. However, they did not forget to appreciate the siren’s enchanting voice and meaningful lyricism. Some of the heartwrenching lyrics are, “Walking wherever you go
You will live forever in me,” “Memories are always in this room that called the heart. It’s full of stories with you,” and “I promise I’ll never leave your love. My heart is beating ’cause of you.”
Jimin often emphasizes the message of staying and comfort. This pattern can also be seen in his song Serendipity and Promise. ARMYs didn’t forget to appreciate Sung Woon’s talent and blend. Many fell in love with Jimin and Sung Woon, having their hearts captured by their voices and hearts swept by the lyrics.
