After his successful performance in Our Beloved Summer, Choi Woo Shik returns to the screen with the series Murder DIEary.
Netflix Korea posted his photo alongside actors Son Suk Ku and Lee Hee Joon. The series is an adaptation of the popular thriller-action- comedy webtoon Sarinjaonangam.
According to sources, Choi Woo Shik takes the lead role of Lee Tang, an ordinary college student who gets into an argument with a customer during his part-time job. He unconsciously swings a hammer, killing the customer on the spot. As he deals with the trauma, guilt, and fear of his actions, Lee Tang discovers that the customer he killed was a serial killer. He learns that he has a supernatural ability, and that is to find “bad seeds.”
Lee Tang becomes a dark hero, punishing people who committed evil acts in the past. He becomes the target of a cold-blooded, charismatic, determined detective who chases him.
Netflix only recently confirmed the lead stars for the upcoming series. However, they haven’t stated the start of production and the drama’s target release date.
