Streaming platform Disney+ announces the target premiere for their upcoming original series “Han River Police,” starring Kwon Sang-woo, Kim Hee-Won, Lee Sang-Yi, and Bae Da-bin.
“Han River Police” is the story of the police force patrolling the legendary Han River in Seoul.
According to local reports, Kwon Sang-woo takes the lead role of policeman Han Du-Jin, a patrol squad member with a temper. Veteran actor Kim Hee-Won takes the opposite role as Lee Chun-Seok. These two are expected to bring comedic chemistry to the series, according to Disney+.
Lee Sang-Yi, Bae Da-bin, and Shin Hyeon-Seung, who worked together in Tving’s “Work Later, Drink Now” in 2021, also star as members of the Han River police squad.
“Han River Police” is a series focusing on the lives of a special police force dealing with various incidents and accidents taking place at Han River. The officers promise to protect citizens who come to enjoy the legendary river and its surrounding area. Will they always solve the crime happening there?
We’ll all find out soon as Han River Police is set to premiere in the second half of 2023.
