Idol-turned-actor Sehun from EXO will be part of TVING’s next teen romance drama, tentatively called “All That We Love,” according to the streaming platform’s statement Wednesday, July 26.
The reports mentioned that Sehun will portray the character named Go Yoo, an 18-year-old basketball star who willingly donated part of his kidney to his best friend, Go Joon-hee, who will be played by actor Jo Joon-young. As soon as Joon-hee received the organ, he started having the “cellular memory” syndrome, which reportedly caused patients from inheriting the donor’s personality and memories after the transplant.
The plot of “All That We Love” will focus on the best friends whose friendship will be challenged because of a mysterious girl named Han So-yeon. The character will be portrayed by actress Jang Yeo-bin.
The streaming platform promised to give a unique story in their upcoming drama. “‘All That We Loved’ will be a new kind of teen drama incorporating elements of a mystery story,” the platform said in their statement.
Aside from the upcoming drama, Sehun also appeared in several acting projects like 2018’s “Dokgo Rewind” and 2021’s “Now, We Are Breaking Up.”
TVING will release the premiere episode of “All That We Loved” in 2023.
