ENA’s latest legal drama “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” is currently making waves among the viewers, and it may soon reach more audiences in other parts of the world.
On Thursday, July 14, news outlets revealed that the TV drama starring Park Eun Bin got several remake proposals, including one from a US-based production outfit.
ASTORY, the production company responsible for the drama, released a response regarding the reports. According to the company, “We have received a proposal for a remake from the United States, and the production company is currently reviewing the offer.”
The story of “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” focused on Park Eun Bin’s character Woo Young Woo, a new lawyer diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome. She used her impeccable memory and clever creative thought process when solving cases, even if she struggled to work for a major law firm due to her condition.
Currently, the show enjoys a tenfold increase in viewership ratings during its first five episodes.
Netflix and ENA drop new episodes of “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” every Wednesday and Thursday until August 18.
