Members of K-pop girl group FIFTY FIFTY refused the terms set by their label ATTRAKT to negotiate their exclusive contracts, insiders revealed Wednesday, August 16.
Media outlets claimed that the girl group members submitted their statement to the Civil Settlement Division 50 of the Seoul Central District Court to decline further mediations and negotiation meetings with their agency.
The initial court date for the case filed by FIFTY FIFTY against ATTRAKT took place on August 9, which was attended by the mothers of members Aran and Saena.
Also present in the court appearance are the ATTRAKT executives and legal representatives from both camps.
The closed door meeting reportedly lasted for two hours, but the camps failed to reach an agreement.
The court scheduled a second meeting this week to continue the mediation, but FIFTY FIFTY expressed their opposition against it. As a result, the trial for the contract dispute will push through as planned.
