Boxing legend and former Senator from the Philippines Manny Pacquiao will be the next high-profile guest of SBS’ long-running variety show “Running Man.”
News outlets revealed that the eight-division world champion will appear in the variety show as part of his promo tour in South Korea. Pacquiao will be in the country starting October 10 and join various promotional activities, including guesting in the show.
In response to the report, the show’s production team confirmed the world-class boxer’s stint in one of their upcoming episodes.
“Manny Pacquiao will participate in the recording for Running Man scheduled on October 11,” the production team stated.
Pacquiao will join an elite list of celebrities who appeared in “Running Man” since its premiere in July 2010, including Hollywood actors Tom Cruise, Simon Pegg, Henry Cavill, and Ryan Reynolds, and international athletes Patrice Evra.
Meanwhile, the Filipino version of “Running Man” is currently making raves in the Philippines.
