Four members of the girl group LOONA won the lawsuit for provisional contract termination against Blockberry Creative.

On January 13, the Civil Division 1 of the Seoul Northern District Court (Chief Judge Jeong Mun-Seong) ruled that members Heejin, Kim Lip, Jinsoul, and Choerry have won their lawsuits to suspend their exclusive contracts with Blockberry Creative. Unfortunately, Haseul, Yeojin, Yves, Olivia Hye, and Gowon lost and must maintain their existing contracts with the agency. Only two members, Vivi and Hyunjin, did not participate in the lawsuit.

With this ruling, only seven members of LOONA remain with the agency.

According to Star News, the four members who won their lawsuits have the same contracts as former LOONA member Chuu, who was removed from the group in November. The contract provisions of the five who lost underwent changes, and the court ruled that their contracts were not unfair.

A Blockberry Creative representative stated they’re currently looking into it and plan to deliver their position later. They also announced that “performers are subject to change” for the upcoming Tokyo concert.
