In a press release on Tuesday, Pledis Entertainment announced that KPop girl group fromis_9 would return with their first full-length album, “Unlock My World,” on June 5.
According to Pledis Entertainment, the upcoming album will mark the return of the summer queen, fromis_9, who represents bright and refreshing music. “Unlock my world” is the group’s first album since their fifth EP, “from our Memento Box,” which was released in June 2022, and the first album with eight members since Jang Gyuri left after her contract expired in July 2022.
Pledis Entertainment expressed that the members worked hard for a long time and tried to improve the album’s musical qualities.
fromis_9 was established in 2017 through MNet’s audition program “Idol School.” They debuted in 2018 with the track “Glass Shoes,” and made hit tracks such as “Love Bomb,” “Fun,” “We Go,” and more. The group comprises Lee Sae-rom, Park Ji-won, Roh Ji-sun, Lee Seo-yeon, Lee Chae-young, Lee Na-gyung, and Baek Ji-heon.
