The actors once appeared together in Netflix’s military drama “D.P.”

Industry insiders revealed that actor Go Kyung Pyo is currently in negotiations to appear in a new drama called “Connect” alongside Jung Hae In.
According to reports, Go Kyung Pyo will take on the role that was initially offered to his friend and “Reply 1988” co-star Ryu Jun Yeol, but the latter had to decline the role.
“Connect” will be the first drama project of Japanese director Takashi Miike in Korea. His filmography includes “Idol x Warrior Miracle Tunes!,” “Secret x Heroine Phantomirage!,” and “Police x Heroine Lovepatrina!”
“Connect” will focus on the story of a man who lost a part of his body organ due to organ hunters. He will eventually get connected to the organ recipient.
While Jung Hae In’s participation in the drama remains up in the air, it will become the actors’ reunion project after “D.P.” Go Kyung Pyo made a cameo appearance in the first episode of the military web series led by Jung Hae In.
If Go Kyung Pyo accepts the role, it will serve as his comeback project since “Private Lives” in 2020. He was last seen on a cameo performance in the drama “My Roommate Is a Gumiho,” starring another “Reply 1988” star Lee Hyeri.
Studio Dragon will produce “Connect” and the filming is expected to begin this month. It is also still unconfirmed if the six-episode series will air on an OTT streaming service provider.
