GOT7 member Yugyeom will finally make his highly-anticipated comeback on January 2 with a new digital single titled “Ponytail,” his agency AOMG revealed Wednesday, December 28.
According to the agency, the concept photos for the digital single will come out on Thursday.
The promo photos show Yugyeom leaning against an obstacle wearing jet-black outfits adorned with silver accessories. Some photos also showed the idol playfully covering a portion of his face with his hand.
The upcoming digital single will come 10 months after the idol released his previous digital single “Take You Down.”
Yugyeom started his solo career as a hip-hop artist under AOMG in 2021 after GOT7’s exclusive contract with JYP Entertainment ended.
AOMG is the hip-hop label formed by Jay Park.
Aside from his solo ventures, Yugyeom also joined the rest of GOT7 as the group’s rapper and main dancer in several festivals and shows this year.
