iKON member Junhoe makes his drama debut in the upcoming rom-com series “Bo Ra! Deborah” alongside Yoo In Na, Yoon Hyun Min, and Koo Sang Wook.
A representative from the idol-turned-actor’s agency YG Entertainment confirmed the news on Monday, December 19.
“Bo ra! Deborah” tells the story of a popular love coach named Deborah (Yoo In Na) who finds herself in trouble when searching for love.
According to reports, Junhoe will portray the character named Yang Jin Ho, a versatile young man who excels in sports, cooking, and singing. Yet he wants nothing to do in life.
When asked about his character, Junhoe shared, “I am very excited because this is my first drama, and I feel honored to be able to be part of this great project. I will work hard to show [viewers] a new side of me, so please show a lot of interest and love.”
Aside from the upcoming drama, Junhoe will also join the cast of the upcoming film “Even if I Die Again.”
“Bo Ra! Deborah” is expected to air in early 2023.
