Actress Lee Bo Young’s TV drama comeback may be sooner than later.
On Tuesday, March 15, sources revealed that the multi-awarded actress will lead the cast of an upcoming drama with the working title “(Ad)Agency.”
To address the rumors, a representative from the actress’ agency J-Wide Company admitted that she received the offer, but still reviewing the script at the moment.
JTBC’s “(Ad)Agency” will be an office drama about a woman who eventually becomes the first female executive of an advertising agency. Aside from working her way to become one of the executives, she will also land in the with the highest position in the company’s hierarchy.
Lee Bo Young is expected to play the lead character named Go Ah In. She is a woman who managed to surpass all hardships and make her way to become the first-ever female executive of the country’s biggest advertising firm.
If the actress will accept the role, it will be her comeback project after her impressive performance in tvN’s 2021 offering “Mine.”
The upcoming drama is expected to air in late 2022.
