While “Business Proposal” maintains it high ratings, actress Kim Sejeong is already casted for her next big project.
On Friday, March 25, sources confirmed that Kim Sejeong will be part of the lead cast of SBS’s soon-to-be released drama “Today’s Webtoon” (literal title).
The drama will be the Korean version of the hit 2016 Japanese TV series “Sleepeeer Hit!” It centers on the story of an ex-Judo athlete who becomes a part of the webtoon editorial department. As the new employee, she struggles to keep up with the demand of the professional world.
Kim Sejeong will play the role of webtoon editorial rookie employee On Ma Eum. She is a former athlete who had to quit her career after an unfortunate accident that resulted in torn ankle ligament. She has a positive attitude despite all the challenges she encountered in the past.
“Today’s Webtoon” is scheduled to air sometime in the second half of the year.
