The new TV drama starring Lee Jong Suk and Girls’ Generation member YoonA titled “Big Mouse” will finally premiere this summer.
The drama was initially reported to be broadcast on tvN. However, media outlets revealed on April 26 that the series will premiere on MBC on July 22.
The headstrong noir drama is about the life of a third-rate lawyer who was assigned to a murder case. It turned him into a sly conman called “Big Mouse.” To keep himself alive and to ensure his family’s security, he needs to expose a massive conspiracy involving his privileged superiors.
Lee Jong Suk will portray the role of the third-rate lawyer named Park Chang Ho. He has a 10% success rate. Meanwhile, YoonA will take on the role of Go Mi Ho, Park Chang Ho’s wife who works as a nurse.
The star-studded cast also includes Kim Joo Heon as Choi Do Ha, Yang Kyung Won as Gong Ji Hoon, Ok Ja Yeon as Hyun Joo Hee, and Kwak Dong Yeon as Jerry.
“Big Mouse” will take over the Friday-Saturday slot that “Dr. Lawyer” will leave vacant after its conclusion.
