BLACKPINK’s Jisoo is breaking records with her solo debut album “ME.”
Jisoo’s two-track EP sold 875,149 copies on the first day of its release, propelling her to become the first female solo K-pop singer to reach this feat on the first day and overall sales. Her BLACKPINK co-member Lisa held the previous record with her solo album “LALISA” in 2021, which sold 730,000 copies during its first week.
Jisoo’s lead track, “Flower,” sits at #6 on Spotify’s Daily Top Song Global Chart, garnering 4.67 million streams worldwide and over 330,000 followers on her artist page. “Flower” also rules on iTunes’ Worldwide Song Chart at the #1 spot in 57 regions worldwide and on top of the Now Hot charts in South Korea’s domestic charts, including MelOn, Genie, and Bugs.
Jisoo’s music video for flower amassed over 59 million views on YouTube and rules YouTube Music at #1.
