Actress Kim So Hyun’s next lead role in a drama is finally confirmed.
The actress’ agency IEUM Hashtag announced that she will portray the role of Mok Sol Hee in the upcoming drama “Useless Lies.”
The new TV series is a mystery romance drama that tells the story of a woman who has the ability to hear lies, and a murder suspect whom everyone doubts innocence.
Kim So Hyun’s character Mok Sol Hee has the superpower which made her hear lies. She believes her power was a curse but decides to use it for good and becomes a “liar hunter” to search for the truth.
Ex-NU’EST member Hwang Minhyung’s agency PLEDIS Entertainment revealed in September that the idol-turned-actor received an offer to play the drama’s male lead.
“Useless Lies” is scheduled to premiere in 2023.
