Actress Kim Tae Hee will make her TV series comeback alongside “The Glory” actress Lim Ji Yeon in the thriller drama “A House with a Yard.”
The actress, last seen on the small screen in 2020 with her fantasy drama “Hi Bye, Mama!,” will play the role of a woman named Joo-ran who seemed to live a perfect life with her doctor husband and handsome son, but things started to turn upside down after she begins to smell something strange in her backyard.
Meanwhile, Lim Ji Yeon will play the role of a domestic violence victim named Sang Eun. She lives in a dilapidated rental apartment and hopes to escape her unfortunate daily life. She experiences a turning point after meeting Joo-ran by chance.
Other confirmed cast members include Kim Sung Oh as Joo-ran’s perfectionist doctor husband Jae Ho. Choi Jae Rim also joins the cast as Sang Eum’s violent husband Yoon Bum.
“A House with a Yard” is based on a novel of the same title written by Kim Jin Young. The eight-episode drama will be helmed by “Twenty Five, Twenty One” director Jung Ji Hyun.
The series will air on Genie TV and ENA in June 2023.
