Famous South Korean singer and actress IU and actor Lee Byung-hun donated 200 million KRW (159800 USD) to children’s organizations for Children’s Day in Korea.
According to the report, IU donated 100 million KRW (79,900 USD) to Child Fund, a domestic charitable organization focused on child welfare. The organization announced that IU’s donation would be used to provide for disabled children, children from one-parent families, and more.
Since 2015, IU has been donating to various children’s organizations.
Actor Lee Byung-Hyun donated 100 million KRW (79,900 USD) to the Seoul Asan Hospital’s Pediatric Department. The hospital announced that Lee’s donation would be used to help families of pediatric patients having financial difficulties paying for treatment.
