The Korean Red Cross announced NCT member Haechan donated 50 million KRW ($37,300) to help the victims of the recent devastating wildfires in Hawaii.
Haechan sent his condolences to the residents of Hawaii and said, “I sincerely hope that the damage is fixed as soon as possible, and people can return to their normal lives.”
The Korean Red Cross explained that the singer’s donation would be used by the American Red Cross for emergency relief, including restoring the Maui region and aiding the wildfire’s victims.
Haechan continues to show his good heart, donating 100 million KRW to the charity organization Community Chest of Korea following the earthquake that rocked Turkey and Syria this year. His donation earned him recognition as a member of the Honor Society, a distinguished donor group for the organization.
Haechan is part of three NCT subunits: NCT 127, NCT Dream, and NCT U.
