On Monday, SM Entertainment announced NCT’s newest subunit, NCT DoJaeJung, will debut on April 17 with the EP “Perfume.”
The subunit’s name consists of the first syllable of each member’s name, Doyoung, Jaehyun, and Jungwoo. These three members have been active in the boyband NCT for several years before the creation of this new subunit.
According to SM Entertainment’s press release, NCT DoJaeJung’s first mini-album, “Perfume,” will be released on various music sites on April 17 at 6 pm, KST. The mini-album comprises six songs of various genres, with the theme of love set to fascinate its listeners romantically!
DoJaeJung performed as a trio in October 2022 with their then-unreleased track “Can We Go Back” at the NCT 127 concert “Neo City: Seoul – The Link+.” They also released a “Christmas Carol Medley” on YouTube on December 2022.
SM Entertainment added, “The Unit will provide different musical colors from NCT.”
