Global entertainment streaming platform Netflix confirmed Monday. June 6. the highly-anticipated return of the hit Korean zombie drama “All of Us Are Dead” for its second season.
The announcement released during the Netflix Geeked Week global event featured four of the show’s lead actors Lomon, Cho Yi-hyun, Yoo Chan-young, and Park Ji-hu dropping the season renewal news.

The action-packed zombie drama, based on a popular Korean webtoon of the same name written by Joo Dong-geun, focused on the story of a group of students from the Hyosan High School who must find their way to stay alive during a frightening zombie apocalypse.
Since the series featured two types of zombies – the immune and the undead – plenty of fans demanded to have another season for the show.
While details about the plot of “All of Us Are Dead” season 2 remain under wraps, director Lee Jae-kyoo dropped hints that since the first season concentrated on the survival of humanity, the next season will shift its focus on the survival of the zombies.
The 12-part “All of Us Are Dead” season 1 managed to become one of the leading TV series from South Korea to top Netflix’s most viewed chart rapidly. It has an accumulated 560.78 million hours viewed as of press time.
Netflix has yet to reveal the release date of “All of Us Are Dead” season 2.
