Actor O Yeong Su’s sexual harassment case faced the court on Friday, February 3, where he vehemently denied all allegations against him during the first hearing at the Seongnam branch of Suwon District Court.
During his trial, the “Squid Game” star denied the accusations of a woman referred to as “A” who claimed that he sexually harassed her back in 2017.
“At the time, the defendant went for a walk with the plaintiff, and also walked her home. However, there was no form of harassment involved. The defendant would thus like to request for the dismissal of this random case, as well as the dismissal of the prosecution’s indictment charge,” the actor’slegal rep stated on behalf of O Yeong Su.
The lawsuit was filed in December 2021 after “A” appealed the case dismissal of the police to the prosecution.
According to “A’s” legal team, the actor “forcibly embraced” her while the two of them were walking. She also claimed that he suddenly kissed her on her right cheek without consent while she was typing her front door’s passcode.
Meanwhile, the actor insisted that he “only took her hand to lead the way” while they walk.
The next hearing will take place on April 14.
