Oh My Girl member Arin is confirmed to work with actor Go Soo in tvN’s upcoming short-form drama “Summer Love Machine Blues,” insiders revealed Monday, May 15.
Reports about the casting additions for the drama mentioned the names of the idol-turned-actress and the seasoned actor who would play the lead characters in the upcoming TV series were shared by various media organizations.
In response to the news, CJ ENM released a brief statement about the show.
“Go Soo and Arin have been cast in ‘Summer Love Machine Blues.’ As far as we know, filming is currently underway,” the production team shared.
The short-form drama “Summer Love Machine Blues” will be included in the drama series under tvN’s “O’PENING” project. It is one of the 10 short-form dramas picked during the “O’PEN” contest exhibition joined by new screenwriters. The contest was formerly known as “Drama Stage.”
The drama will focus on the story of growth and changes the main characters face despite their struggles.
“Summer Love Machine Blues” is slated to premiere at an undisclosed date sometime in late 2023.
