After being involved in a controversy with an ex-girlfriend early this month, ONEUS member Ravn decided to quit the group, the idol’s agency RBW confirmed Thursday, October 27.
According to the agency, Ravn decided to sever his ties with ONEUS because he was worried about how the controversy hurt the band and its fans. The other members and the rest of the agency opted to respect his decision and planned to continue their activities as a five-member group.
The agency also mentioned that their investigation discovered malicious lies and false accusations thrown at Ravn. They have plans to do legal action about the incident in the coming days.
The controversy started when an alleged ex-girlfriend shared a long post against Ravn on Twitter.
The person claimed that the idol repeatedly cheated on her during their two-year relationship and mentioned that she was the one paying for all their expenses. She also said that Ravn got her drunk during their first meeting and she was not fully conscious during their first sexual intercourse.
The agency promptly addressed the controversy by launching an investigation.

After careful discussion with Ravn and the ONEUS members, we decided to respect his opinion to voluntarily leave the group. As a result, we inform you that Ravn has left ONEUS as of today.
ONEUS will continue activities with five members from now on.
Regardless of Ravn’s departure, while checking the facts of the case, we discovered false information and malicious editing included in the posts circulating regarding Ravn, and we will unveil the accurate truths on this through a lawsuit. In addition, there will be firm legal action taken regarding comments with malicious personal attacks against the agency and artists. Regardless of the validity of the circulated posts, we feel responsibility for our inadequacy in artist management.
