The Independence Fighters were the warriors who fought for Korea’s independence from Japan in the 1910s. After returning from his mandatory military enlistment in May, Park Bogum takes part in building houses for the descendants of independence fighters. Singer Sean posted photos on his Instagram account giving glimpses of Bogum working with him.

As reported by SBS News, Sean wrote on Instagram, “Building a house of hope for the descendants of independence fighters. The 7th house of hope is being built for the family of General Shin Dol-Seok, one of the most famous army chiefs in Cheongsong, Gyeongsangbuk-do. We started building houses to make sure the descendants could live in a comfortable home. We will update you again when this nest, which is built with precious sweat and donations, is completed.”
The houses are a project of Habitat for Humanity Korea and Sean. Park Bogum also takes part in the Hero Race with Sean, which aims to raise funds and awareness for Korean children with illnesses.
