After rumors about BTS’ V boarding a charter plane purchased by BLACKPINK’s Lisa made the rounds online, a new report revealed who actually owns the plane that took them to Paris.
The KPop superstars, together with heartthrob actor Park Bo Gum, flew all the way to Paris, France on Friday, June 24, to grace the 2023 S/S season menswear line of international luxury brand Celine. KPop fans started talking about the trip when V posted several photos taken from the charter flight on social media.
The rumors intensified when an American media source quoted a message sent by the charter engineer, claiming that Lisa paid the rental fees for the private plane.
Other speculations came up when the plane engineer named Josh Jung posted a photo of the plane’s interior and tagged Lisa.
He also replied to a fan’s question to answer that she bought the aircraft. Fans were quick to post it on their social media accounts.
However, a statement from an entertainment industry official debunked the rumors. According to the industry expert, the chartered plane was sent by Celine to take the Korean superstars to Paris to attend the event at the Palais de Tokyo.
