A new drama series is in the works for critically-acclaimed actors Ra Mi Ran and Lee Do Hyun, an industry representative revealed early this week.
Reports revealed that Lee Do Hyun was tapped to play the lead role in JTBC’s upcoming comedy-drama called “Bad Mom. The actor’s agency responded to the report, confirming that he was contacted for the role and was positively reviewing it.
The “Prison Playbook” actor will reportedly play the role of Kang Ho, a prosecutor who followed the wishes of his mother, but suddenly lost his memory and became child-like again. Meanwhile, Ra Mi Ran is stated to take the role of Yoong Soon, a devoted mother who became a “bad mom” as she tries to give the best of everything to her son.
If the actors accept the offer, it will be their first time working together in one show. It will be helmed by “Beyond Evil” director Shim Na Yeon.
More details are expected to be revealed about “Bad Mom” in the coming days.
