On January 5, a Nate Pann post garnered views for claiming BTS’ Jungkook was on a date on Jeju Island. The post’s title was “Jungkook was seen being on a date on Jeju Island. Taehyung and Jennie’s date location last year…”
The photo showed Jungkook next to an unknown female. The post creator claimed this was the BTS member’s girlfriend and even captioned the photo, “Jungkook found love. T_T”
However, ARMYs kept receipts and were quick to debunk this rumor. It was an old photo, and Jungkook was not with his girlfriend but with a group of friends. Someone called the restaurant owner, and he clarified that the “girlfriend” in the photo was a female staff employee.
Currently, netizens are commenting on the post as this was the same Nate Pann creator claiming that BTS member Taehyung and Blackpink’s Jennie are dating, with an edited photo of the two.
ARMYs have messaged BTS’ agency BigHit Music, hoping that the Nate Pann creator making dating rumors for BTS would be jailed for spreading false information and malicious intent.
