SBS’s long-running entertainment show “Running Man” will change its broadcast time slot starting early 2023, the network announced Monday, December 12.
According to the network, “Starting from Sunday January 1, 2023, ‘Running Man’ will air at 6:20 p.m. KST.”
At the moment, the entertainment variety show airs every Sunday at 5 p.m. KST, where it was hailed as the most-viewed TV program in the time slot for viewers aged 20 to 49.
The upcoming change in the show’s broadcast time slot reportedly aims to reach a wider and more diverse audience.
“We are planning more enjoyable and diverse races that hopefully will make viewers laugh more to commemorate the changing broadcast time slot. Please look forward to ‘Running Man’ which will run even harder,” the production team stated.
It is not the first time for “Running Man” to occupy the 6 p.m. time slot, since it previously hold the slot under the network’s “Good Sunday” broadcast until 2017.
