Saudi Culture Ministry Signs Agreement with CJENM to Develop the Kingdom’s Cultural Sector in Seoul

South Korean entertainment and media company CJENM Ltd. penned an agreement with Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Culture. According to the Saudi Press Agency, SPA, the agreement aims to enrich the Kingdom’s cultural sector in Seoul. 

The contract contained the plan developments for cooperation in the sectors of films, music, and cultural events. The SPA reported that the deal included plans to explore opportunities for cooperation in various cultural projects. These included the cinematic and musical activities and cultural centers that feature both Saudi and Korean heritage through; music, art, food, theatrical arts, heritage, films, and architecture. 

The Deputy Minister of Culture, Hamed bin Mohammed Fayez, and CEO Sung Kang signed the agreement in the presence of the Minister of Culture, Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan. 

The report added that Prince Badr was also in South Korea for an official visit, where he met South Korea’s Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Park Bo-gyoon to discuss strengthening and developing the cooperation between the two nations. The Culture ministry’s leading efforts to develop the Kingdom’s cultural sector and enrich it through international cooperation. The joint agreement is in line with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.
