Siwan Donates to Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association for Flood Relief Efforts

South Korea’s heaviest rainfall in 80 years left devastating aftermath. The metro system and homes were submerged, and the rainfall triggered several landslides and knocked out power all over the capital. Officials announced that nine people were found dead, and six remain missing. 

Three of nine victims were found in Banjiha-cramped basement flats that you’d see in Bong Joon-ho’s movie Parasite. They were found in a Banjiha in Seoul’s Gwanak district. Yonhap News agency found that the three victims, including a teenager, were a family trapped in their basement home. 

Actor and ZE:A member, singer Siwan donated to the flood relief efforts. Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association revealed that I’m Siwan donated 20 million Won, 15254.08 USD. The association stated that his donation would be used to repair damages and help victims. 

Hope Bridge thanked Siwan for his thoughtful gesture to the residents of the affected areas. The ZE:A member is known for philanthropic giving, donating to movements that helped wildfire victims earlier this year.
