The Glory Part 2 was a rollercoaster many continue to rave about on social media. The intriguing intricacy of revenge, unexpected twists, and anticipated delivery will surely make you feel things you’re foreign to, as many netizens keep the #TheGlory on their discussions.

So, it is no surprise that Netflix’s revenge thriller series debuted at #3 on its global chart only two days after its release. According to streaming analytics company FlixPatrol, The Glory Part 2 peaked at #3 on its daily global chart for TV programs on Netflix.

The data showed that The Glory Part 2 became the most popular TV show in 26 countries, including Korea, Thailand, Mexico, and Saudi Arabia. It also ranked second in 13 countries like France, Brazil, Kuwait, and Turkey.

Many viewers praised the actors, producers, and writers for what became a cathartic watch. Many did not expect Do-Yeong’s response after discovering that Ye-Sol, the child he raised, was not his biological child. However, even in his revenge, he proved she was his child and would protect her from her mother and Jae-Jun.

Did your heartbreak, too, when Dong-Eun’s mother appeared? Perhaps you’ve been screaming ‘deserve’ as she was taken by the mental facility, a trap laid out by the daughter she abandoned.

What of Yeon-jun? Her evolution from a newscaster and rich wife to a prisoner gone insane over the person she bullied is a cinematic experience. Going insane, not knowing why she’s there, but knowing that her past actions accumulated to a landslide of karma — *stunning.*

Then there was Hye-Jeong, stabbed in the neck by Sa-ra, who was angered after seeing her video with Myeong-O. Dong-Eun gave her something to switch glaucoma drops, enabling her to avenge herself. And that revenge was Magnifique!

After finding out Do-Yeong’s plan to take Ye-sol, Hye-Jeong threatens Dong-Eun to find out where she is. Jae-jun drives to an unknown place. After using his eyedrops, which weren’t, he is severely blinded, causing him to get struck by a car.

And that is when we know that Dong-Eun’s revenge is completed, not only by her. In the flashback, Jae-jun is shown to be wounded but finds his way to a building site. However, unable to see, someone kicks him over the ledge into a vat of cement. Though it’s not shown, we know it’s Do-Yeong, shown in the next scene with Ye-Sol at the airport on their way to a new life in the UK.
