Netflix’s upcoming series “The Bequeathed” unveiled its all-star cast, including actors Kim Hyun Joo, Park Hee Soon, Ryu Kyung Soo, and Park Byung Eun.
The drama will tell the story of the character named Yoon Seo Ha, whose life changed after inheriting a seonsan (a mountain where the grave of a person’s ancestor can be found) from an uncle whom she has not seen for a long time.
Kim Hyun Joo will take over the role of Yoon Seo Ha. She will be involved in a grim event when she inherited the seonsan after her uncle’s unexpected death.
Meanwhile, Park Hee Soon will portray the role of detective Choi Sung Joon. He has a very strong sense of investigation and high intuition. He is the one who observed that the dark incidents happening in town started when Yoon Seo Ha inherited the seonsan.
On the other hand, Park Byung Eun accepted the role of squad chief Park Sang Min. He is a junior colleague of Choi Sung Joon who harbors ill feelings toward him because of a past incident. It prompted him to be possessed with jealousy and inferiority.
Finally, Ryu Kyung Soo will play the role of Yoon Seo Ha’s half-brother Kim Young Ho. He suddenly appeared in her life, making it more confusing.
“The Bequeathed” will be helmed by director Min Hong Nam. Acclaimed TV and film creator Yeon Sang Ho, who worked with Min Hong Name in “Train to Busan” and “Peninsula,” is part of the planning and scriptwriting for the drama. He also worked with Kim Hyun Joo in the past for “Hellbound.”
Filming for the upcoming drama is expected to begin soon.
