ARMYs have developed an instinct of dread whenever BigHit Music announces something on Weverse, starting with “Hello, this is BigHit Music.”
Their latest post is not an exception. BTS Charts and Translation uploaded screenshots of BigHit Music’s recent announcement on Twitter. BTS’ eldest member Kim Seokjin injured his left finger while doing daily activities. On March 18, the member went to the hospital for examination and treatment.
He underwent the required surgery to fix the tendons in his left finger. The surgery repaired the extensor in his left index finger on Friday afternoon. He was discharged the day after and will wear a cast for stabilization.
Millions of fans rallied on several social media platforms to express their wishes for his speedy recovery. Some multitasked and voted for BTS’ hit song Butter with Jin’s gorgeous photo. The hashtag #WorldwideHandsome also trended, as the member is known for his ethereal visuals.
Fans also thanked member Suga, real name Min Yoongi, for uploading a selca twelve minutes before the announcement to soften the blow. It once again shows how considerate they are when it comes to ARMYs. BigHit Music will keep ARMYs posted and prioritize their artists’ health and wellness.
