After fans showed concerns over photos of BLACKPINK Jisoo showing what seemed to be a lump on her neck became viral, the K-pop group’s agency YG Entertainment released a brief statement on Friday, November 4, to clarify the issue.
“Jisoo is handling the world tour schedule well,” the agency stated, “and there is nothing wrong with her health.”
The issue started after fans noticed a small lump on Jisoo’s neck, based on the videos taken during the North American leg of BLACKPINK’s “Born Pink” World Tour.
Some of the fans noted that it was not the first time Jisoo had swollen nodes on her neck, and they wish she had already checked it with a doctor.
Jisoo and the rest of BLACKPINK are still doing their rounds in North America to complete their ongoing world tour. They will move to Europe for their series of shows until the end of the year, then kick off their Asian leg in early 2023. The quarter will complete the rest of their tour in Australia and New Zealand in June 2023.
