Perhaps you’re one of the fans rushing online after seeing BLACKPINK member Jisoo’s cryptic post on Instagram with the second photo having the words “Coming Soon 2023-03-31.” The posts garnered 10.1 million likes on Instagram on Sunday. We have confirmation!
BLACKPINK’s Agency, YG Entertainment, confirmed to local news outlets that the date on the teaser image is the release date for Jisoo’s highly-anticipated solo debut. However, the agency did not give further information other than the release date.
Jisoo is the fourth and last of BLACKPINK”s members to do a solo debut album. Jennie was first with “Solo” in 2018, Rose and Lisa in 2021 with “R” and “Lalisa.”
As reported by Yonhap, BLACKPINK is currently on a large-scale world tour expected to attract 1.5 million global fans.
