Treasure members Bang Yedam and Mashiho decided to terminate their contracts with the boy band, their agency YG Entertainment revealed Tuesday, November 8.
In a fan community platform, the entertainment agency confirmed that the idols expressed their desires to part ways with the company and the idol group after a thorough discussion.
According to the agency, Mashiho requires more time to improve his health. On the other hand, Bang Yedam wants to explore his talents as a music producer.
Both idols opted to pause their group activities in May.

Treasure made their debut with the single “The First Step: Chapter One” in 2020. The group recently released its sophomore EP called “The Second Step: Chapter Two” in October and is scheduled to have its second concert next week in Seoul before travelling to Japan for its tour starting on November 26.
