Episode Count:

The Reply series, known for its witty and nostalgic way of tackling “slice of life” dramas, returns to the 90s, once again, to takes us on a journey through the year of 1994. But unique from the other two installments of the trilogy (Reply 1997 and Reply 1988) is the primary focus of friendship-turned-familyship, of a group of young strangers in a boarding house, who far away from home, are trying to find direction and instruction on an already uncertain and shaky future. Although romance appears to take a backseat to the daily rendering of issues in the house, (careers options, money, distant family, etc.,) the story’s love line subtly weaves its way through each episode, keeping us guessing about who will romantically end up with whom, until the very end. With characters this relatable, and a setting reminiscent of teenhood past, this ‘Reply’ definitely Answers the call… of your heart!
Hard Pill to Swallow
Watching 60 to 90 minutes of episodes can be tiring at times, especially if you have plenty of other things to do.
