The LONG PILL:

This story wastes no time getting down to the nitty-gritty. The show starts off with a boom and continues the entire way through. Without giving up any spoilers, I would say that this show follows the natural instincts of a person who suspects that things in the relationship might have changed. We go on a ride, or a hunt for clues, along with the main character, to find out who did what, and try to unravel what’s lies and what’s truth. This drama is based off of the UK, BBC One, acclaimed hit, Doctor Foster, about a wife who suspects her husband of having an affair and unravels as she gets to the bottom of it. But in true Korean Drama form, they will take a show and make it its own… so much so that you will not acknowledge that another version even exists.
Hard Pill to Swallow
Sometimes it may anger you to see the adversarial roles winning, but such is the rollercoaster ride of a K-drama. You have to take the bad with the good, until it makes sense in the end. If you feel it even makes sense at all. But nonetheless… it’s emotional.
